Botanical illustrations and landscape art celebrating the Northern Territory.
As an NT Young Achiever Winner in Tourism and Hospitality in 2024, Matt’s love for the Northern Territory extends artistically into showcasing the finest native and introduced flora that dominate the landscape around us.
In the studio, Matt creates small to medium botanical illustrations using acrylics on high grade watercolour paper, whilst exploring grandeur landscapes using acrylics on canvas. Each work embeds a personal connection where he explores the outback, sketches subjects en-plein-air, photographs and then creates a lasting artwork fit for decor.
