With my explorations into the destructive nature of the introduced Buffel grass in Central Australia, there was always a bit of beauty that paralleled with it. In this painting, I wanted to reveal an overpowering amount of Buffel that would dominate the landscape, but also use the sky’s fascinating colour changes and burning ranges to reveal that the energy the natural landscape still gives.
