As my studio became more and more about the Northern Territory, I decided to hang a flag inside. It definitely brought the studio together, giving all my work a bit more context. The flag had already an abstract version of the sturt desert rose, so I thought I would abstract it even further. With the current fires in Australia, the deep orange and ochres played a huge part in the overall feel of the piece.

In this fourth edition, I added some yellow ochre splattering for a complimentary effect and some sugar ants, typically seen by the nectar in these flowers and many alike.
