Stretched and ready to hang

As my studio became more and more about the Northern Territory, I decided to hang a flag inside. It definitely brought the studio together, giving all my work a bit more context. With the current fires in Australia, the deep orange and ochres played a huge part in the overall feel of the piece.

In this eigth edition, I added some black splattering for a complimentary effect and as a symbol of the locals impact on the art scene; dominant!
There’s also some sugar ants, typically seen by the nectar in these flowers and many alike.
