Pepperberry Branch #2

A$220.00

Introduced to Central Australia in the 1930's for its drought resilient nature and shade cover. Its berries form in clusters of 5-10, and its leaves form parallel to each other on the spine as well as alternating.

You'll see most of these trees planted at schools, parks and the older houses in Alice as they were a great source of shade for new places.

The leaves tend to smell more like pepper until the peppercorns are ready to pick in the warmer weather.
