Oh the negative stigma behind the Southern cross. The patriotic tattoos of Australians have completely tarnished the beauty of what the Southern Cross holds. Hopefully I can do it justice..
This was a continuation of my NT flag series where I decided to place the desert roses in the shape of the cross to unify the two sides of the Northern Territory flag.

The yellow and red ochres are imperative to signify the country, and the design is a great exercise of design and westernisation.
