After the buffel is pulled out of the Todd River, you’ll start to see all the native species emerge. These small billy buttons emerged on the bank of the river on Sturt Terrace. Near it stands a sign that says, ‘Vegetation restoration in process’.

I feel a sense of mystique in this piece, like something exciting was happening but I didn’t know what. This gave me affirmation that the current subject matter and my involvement is giving me substance to work from and reflect on.
